8-stage filtration with remineralization
The M6SL combines reverse osmosis membrane filtration with carbon and sediment filtration to help reduce dissolved solids and other impurities in your water.
Its remineralization stage adds minerals, including calcium and magnesium, for a balanced taste. Use the filtered water for drinking, cooking, or preparing coffee and tea in your usual kettle or coffee maker.
A glass pitcher that goes with you
Take the 40 fl oz glass pitcher—approximately 1.2 liters—from the countertop to the dining table, or place it in the refrigerator when you prefer chilled water.
When docked on the powered system, the pitcher automatically refills once its water level drops below 20 fl oz, provided there is sufficient water in the feed tank.

Separate compartments for incoming water and wastewater
The tank keeps incoming tap water and RO wastewater in separate compartments:
- 135 fl oz / approximately 4 L for incoming water.
- 50 fl oz / approximately 1.5 L for wastewater.
The system has a rated 3:1 filtered-water-to-wastewater ratio—approximately three parts filtered water for every one part wastewater under rated operating conditions. Actual performance varies with water quality, operating conditions and flushing.

FAQ
Does the M6SL provide hot or chilled water?
The M6SL dispenses filtered water at room temperature. It does not heat or chill water. If you prefer cold water, place the detachable glass pitcher in your refrigerator.
Does it need a connection to my kitchen faucet?
No. The M6SL uses a manually refillable water tank, so no permanent faucet connection, drilling or under-sink plumbing is required. It does need electricity and a compatible power outlet.
Is the 4-liter capacity the amount of filtered water it stores?
No. The 4-liter capacity refers to the incoming-water compartment. Filtered water is collected separately in the detachable glass pitcher, which holds approximately 1.2 liters (40 fl oz).
Can I use the filtered water for coffee, tea and cooking?
Yes. Use the filtered water in your kettle, coffee maker or cookware as you normally would. The M6SL itself does not heat the water.
Does the filter need replacing?
Yes. The M6SL uses the compatible M6RFL replacement filter, which the manufacturer rates for up to 12 months or 1,100 gallons. Actual filter life depends on water quality and usage. Follow the filter-life indicator and the replacement instructions in the user manual.

Setup & Daily Use
Simple countertop setup
Place your M6SL on a stable, level indoor countertop near a compatible power outlet. Fill the feed-water tank and position the glass pitcher on its base, following the included setup instructions.
No drilling or permanent connection to your kitchen faucet or plumbing is required.
Before your first glass
Complete the initial flushing procedure described in the user manual before drinking any water from the system.
Use a suitable container to collect the flushing water, and discard it as directed in the user manual.
Everyday dispensing
Refill the incoming-water compartment as needed and empty the separate wastewater compartment. Use the touch panel to select your preferred dispensing amount, with a suitably sized glass or container beneath the outlet.
The filter-life indicator and operating alerts help you keep track of the system’s routine needs.
Using the glass pitcher
Lift the detachable pitcher from its base to serve filtered water at the table or use it for cooking.
The M6SL dispenses room-temperature water. For chilled water, place the pitcher in your refrigerator. For hot drinks, heat the filtered water separately in your kettle or coffee maker.
Care & Maintenance
Regular cleaning
Clean the glass pitcher and water-tank compartments regularly, following the methods and cleaning instructions in the included user manual.
Keep up with routine cleaning alongside filter replacement to maintain the system’s performance.
Managing the wastewater
Empty the wastewater compartment as needed during normal use. Keep wastewater separate from the incoming water, and never pour it back into the feed-water compartment.
Refill the incoming-water compartment with fresh water suitable for the system, as specified in the user manual.
Replacing the filter
Use the compatible M6RFL replacement filter.
The manufacturer rates the filter for up to 12 months of use. Actual filter life depends on water quality and usage, so an earlier replacement may be needed. Follow the filter-life indicator and the manufacturer’s replacement instructions.
After a filter change
Follow the user manual for fitting the new filter, resetting the filter-life indicator and completing the required flushing procedure before drinking the filtered water.
